The Nettleton Education Foundation is a group of professionals and parents committed to enriching the educational opportunities of students throughout Nettleton Public Schools.
Each year, NEF raises funds to provide unique learning opportunities outside the core curriculum and beyond the district’s operational budget. These funds are also used to provide scholarships to seniors.
Nettleton Education Foundation creates excitement district-wide when grants are awarded to teachers each Fall by the Surprise Patrol. In the Spring, they honor scholar seniors during Academic Signing Day.
Since 2017, the Nettleton Education Foundation has partnered with Nettleton Public Schools teachers, staff, and administration to honor the academic achievements of the graduating class. It is an exciting event to which all graduating seniors attending any institution of higher learning are invited. The universities and colleges are also invited to set up for the students to meet a school representative and sign.
The class of 2021-2022 was offered a total of $4,281,180 in scholarship money. The overall amount accepted $2,290,892.
In 2022, the following seniors were awarded the Nettleton Education Foundation scholarships:
