Great news, Raider Family! UHSMA has been awarded the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation Grant, valued at over $2,000, to support their Dental Health Month Series project. This initiative aims to promote lasting improvements in oral hygiene practices among UHSMA students, their families, and the community. Our 6th-grade Future Health Professionals club (HOSA) will lead educational efforts at UHSMA and UHE, using materials purchased with the grant and providing dental kits for each student, with additional supplies for those in greater need. The HOSA club will also partner with local hospitals and hospice care centers to offer dental kits to families in unexpected situations and will host a "Making the Rounds" health awareness event on campus in February during National Children's Dental Health Month. We’re excited to see how UHSMA can make a lasting impact on oral health in the Jonesboro community! #RaiderPride
