In November, we had SO MANY positive office referrals!  A positive office referral is a written note given to the student for being a respectful Raider!   We also celebrated Raider of the Month students with certificates and a special lunch!  We learned about veterans and found ways to honor them.  We celebrated the progress 1st and 2nd grade students were making in Walk-to-Read with extra recess time!  We celebrated Thanksgiving with special activities and a Thanksgiving lunch!  We were happy to welcome family and/or friends to eat Thanksgiving lunch with their student!  Mrs Shepherd, our art teacher, helped students make a Thanksgiving placemant that we used for the lunch, and they got to keep it forever!  Our UHE staff had a potluck Thanksgiving lunch, and everyone ejoyed a week off for Thanksgiving Break!
